At eighteen, Qi Man interviewed for a secretarial position at Rongtian’s headquarters. Leaving the building, she was stopped by someone with a business card and asked if she was interested in a different job. Qi Man stared at Li Yanzhi for a few seconds before agreeing to be her lover.
