The Fire Hunter

The world after humanity’s final war. The land was covered in a black forest where flame demons roamed, and people lived small lives in a land protected by a barrier. Due to the human combustible pathogen developed and used before the final war, humans of this era would ignite from the inside and burst into flames when a natural fire burned nearby.

The only fire that humans can use safely in this world comes from the flame demons that live in the forest. A certain rumor was being whispered among the fire hunters who make a living by hunting fire. “Yururuho, an artificial star that was launched before the final war and wandered in the void for a long time, is coming back…” “The fire hunter who hunted the Millennium Comet (Yokabi) will be called the king of fire hunters.”

Touko was born in a paper-making village and was attacked by a flame demon after entering a forbidden forest, but was saved by a fire hunter. Koushi, who was born in the capital, lost his mother to factory poison, and has a young sister.He decides to take shelter in Okibi’s house.

When the lives of Touko and Koushi intersect, a new destiny begins…
