Before A Vampire Bites Me ~ My very short days as the vampire princess's kin

Masato Tanaka, an ordinary man living a normal life in human society. The morning after graduating from high school, his family mysteriously disappears, leaving only ashes on their beds as a clue. The police investigation reaches its limits, and the search is called off. One night, while returning from his night walk—a habit he had developed to search for his family during his free time before bed—he finds a girl collapsed in front of his house.

Unaware that she is a vampire, Masato Tanaka is injured in the arm by a pursuer he mistakes for the girl’s guardian. He grabs the girl’s hand with his bloodied arm and flees the scene, but as he believes he has been caught and killed, he wakes up in a hospital room.

This is the story of Masato Tanaka, who knows nothing about vampire society, becoming the kin of a vampire girl who is in protective confinement by humans, and how the two end up living together.
