Marie, the youngest daughter of Earl Odillia, and Calix, the second son of the Marquis Escael, have been married for three years.

Their union, a marriage of convenience, has always been strained—different family expectations, clashing mindsets, even incompatible habits.

The only “couple-like” activity they share is having dinner together twice a week; they haven’t even held hands, let alone shared a wedding night.
