My Fake Girlfriend’s Love Is Too Strong Now
A second-year high school boy, Kuwazome Hakuto, lives alone away from his family. He has a scary appearance that makes his classmates avoid him, but he has been dating a girl for six months. This girl, Shirafuji Luna, is a top student, beautiful, and well-known throughout the school. The two of them show such a close relationship that people even tease them as a silly couple.
However, they have a secret that they cannot tell anyone. They are not real lovers; they are bound by a fake relationship contract that Luna proposed six months ago. The contract lasts until one of them finds someone they truly like. But even after six months, the fake relationship continues, and Luna shows no signs of wanting to break up.
At home, Luna clings to Hakuto and relies on him, even making him help with chores and taking care of her, which she is not good at. After living this way for six months, Hakuto says, “We are in a fake relationship, you know.” Luna replies, “That’s true.” He then asks, “When will this relationship end?” She simply answers, “I don’t know.”
They continue their relationship as fake lovers while exploring each other’s feelings. It’s a love comedy about a fake girlfriend who won’t break up and the adjustments of their feelings for each other in a semi-cohabiting situation.
