Betrayed by the person I thought was my beloved childhood friend and girlfriend, and by the person I thought was my best friend, I fled the town where they lived.

I moved to a new town, and things started to improve a little, thanks to the kindness of “two seniors.” But my heart still couldn’t heal.

One winter, during my second year in this town, a suspicious person appeared at the apartment where I live.

It seemed that the person was targeting the woman who had recently moved into the room next door.

After chasing the intruder away, the woman, trembling with fear, begged me to spend the night with her. But… I didn’t want to be with a woman, so I just abandoned her.

However… I couldn’t get the memory of her eyes, filled with the same despair and sadness as mine, out of my head…

And so… this is where my strange life together as a cohabitant began.

This is the story of an ordinary male college student who, after being betrayed by his childhood sweetheart and best friend, broke and ran away, and a girl who continues to flee while being slandered by society and told to atone for the crimes her family committed. Together, they search for true happiness.
