Further On (Up the Road)

The year is 1935. The story takes place in Eldland – a harsh realm of relentless dust storms and echoing thunder.

Douglas, a ten-year-old boy, is growing up in the slums. After an incident, he and his friends Harry and Brian are taken in by mobster Don Thunders. When Douglas and his friends turn 17, they meet Belza, the leader of an underground organization, and are recruited as human resources.

This is the story of three childhood friends who admire Belza’s sense of justice and take on public personas as a taxi driver, a cop, and a bodyguard.

Further on Up the Road is also a heartbreaking love story about Douglas, who reflects on his beloved girlfriend as he continues down the road of life.
