It all started when Meng Xin overheard his roommate, Bian Ting, talking about him behind his back.

“Meng Xin is the kind of person you can only be friends with—he’s not boyfriend material.”

After hearing that, Meng Xin couldn’t sleep for three nights. In the middle of the night, he suddenly sat up in bed, eyes wide open—
