The Fake Legend of Princess Mei Mei

A story of two sisters swapping lives: the plain but kind-hearted older sister and the ambitious, beautiful younger sister.

Hotarugetsu lived with her parents, who made a living from charcoal making and medicine crafting, and her younger sister, Tsukika, who was known as the most beautiful girl in the village. They lived a peaceful life in a quiet village.

However, that peaceful life was lost when Tsukika went missing.

In her despair, Hotarugetsu was visited by a man who had once helped her when she was injured.

“I’ve come to take you. I want you to be my wife.”

The man who said this was none other than the crown prince, the heir to the throne of this country.

Although confused, Hotarugetsu was taken to the palace, where she saw her sister Tsukika being treated as a princess.
