The Guilty Hero ~ Awakened with the Gift of Darkness, I Lead an Army of Darkness (WN)

It has been 20 years since the war between humans and demons began. The humans were losing, but the arrival of seven heroes turned the tide of the battle.

In the midst of this, various nations were searching for individuals known as “Gifted,” rare beings with special powers. Among them was a boy named Fade, living in a remote village, who discovers he possesses the Gift when the hero visits the village.

However, the hero views Fade’s Gift as a threat and attempts to kill him, leading to the massacre of his family and villagers to silence them. Fueled by anger and hatred, Fade’s Gift awakens. He manages to escape the hero’s grasp, but the kingdom declares him a “traitor to humanity” and puts a bounty on his head.

Four years later, Fade has honed his power and strength. In the mountains between human and demon territories, he encounters the Demon King. Despite putting up a fight, the Demon King witnesses the overwhelming power of Fade.

Upon hearing Fade’s story, the Demon King proposes an offer.

“Wouldn’t you like to join forces with me?”

This is the tale of the most powerful individual who turned to the demons, seeking revenge on the hero and mankind.
